University of Glasgow African and Caribbean Excellence Award 2022/23 | Fully Funded
Eligible African students and those from the Caribbean are invited to apply for the University of Glasgow African and Caribbean Excellence Award 2022/23. The Scholarship is fully funded and offers a chance to study for free in the United Kingdom.
The University of Glasgow is offering 10 scholarships for International students from Africa and the Caribbean starting a postgraduate taught Masters programme in any discipline for academic session 2022/23.

The following countries are eligible to participate for the University of Glasgow African & Caribbean Excellence Award:
- Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo Democratic Republic of, Cote d’Ivoire, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Haiti, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for University of Glasgow African & Caribbean Excellence Award, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to a UK 1stClass Honours;
- Hold an offer of a place for a postgraduate taught one year Masters programme for September 2022 intake;
- Have International fee status.
Application Procedures
Applicants must complete an application form to be considered for the scholarship, only offer holders will be able to apply.
Applicants shortlisted for interviews will be contacted mid-May.
